OK, in honour of Goth's surrender, I give you a song. Not having caught up on the NG I'm not sure whether anyone else has done this already (probably Chuck) but here it is anyway, enjoy. :-) When Goth went on the Internet (sung to the tune of "When the Devil went down to Georgia") Goth went on the Internet. He was lookin' for a debate to win He was in a bind 'cause he was way behind, and he was willin' to lie like sin. When he came across this one man, debating on methods and whatnot. And Goth jumped up on a Forum and said, 'Boy, let me tell you what.' 'I guess you didn't know it, but I'm a debator, too. And if you care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you.' 'Now, you talk a real good fight, boy, but give ol Goth his due.' 'I'll pit a Mean of Gold against your logic. 'cause I think I'm better than you.' The man said,'My names Mike, and it might be a sin. But I'll take your bet, You're gonna regret, 'cause I'm the best that's ever been.' Goth opened up his case and he said, 'I'll start this show.' And tar flew from his lips, as he started to speak real slow. He hit his stride, he took the piss In all it sounded something like this : 'Legal this and legal that, and doubletalk to make you balk. I'll never say it straight. I'm out to weave, to decieve, To obfusticate, to mutilate This poor excuse for debate.' 'Where there should be a clear path, a logic sound and true, I'll use whatever suits me, and say to plain English a hearty - 'Fuck You'.' When Goth had finished, Mike said, 'Well, your pretty stupid, old son, sit down in that chair right there and let me show you how it's done.': 'Well talking should simple, Goth A structure, rime and reason. In defence of the English language for the crimes you commit, the nonsense you spit, You should tried for Treason. You pick, you choose. You attempt to confuse. And still you have no hope. Such a display, just points the way and shows you are a dope.' Goth bowed his head down low, he knew he had been beat. His Mean of Gold lay broken on the ground at Mike feet. Mike said " Goth, just come on back, if you ever want to try again. 'Cause I told you once, you son of a gun, I'm the best thats ever been.' :-) Anyway, see you all on Friday. Rob Wilson
